Glide Gates

Slide coloured blocks to the gate of their colour. Procedural levels that are always solvable, with ice, layers, bombs, locks and chains, a timed Rush mode with combos and adaptive difficulty, and four power-ups.
Drag a block across or down: it slides until it hits something. If it reaches the gate of its colour it leaves the board; a gate of another colour bounces it back. Empty the board before the moves run out. Walls, arrows, ice, layers, bombs, locks and chains arrive as you go.
Glide Gates is a sliding-block puzzle with coloured gates. Drag a block across or down and it slides until it hits something — another block, a wall or the edge of the board. If it reaches the gate of its own colour it leaves the board; a gate of any other colour bounces it back. Empty the board before the moves run out, and use fewer moves than par for more stars.
The interesting part is that nothing stops halfway. A block always travels as far as it can, so you are not choosing where it goes but what it will hit. Moving one block is usually about setting up the wall another one needs.
New obstacles arrive every couple of levels: stone walls, arrow blocks that only move one way, ice that breaks when another block slides into it, layered blocks whose outer colour leaves first, bombs, gates locked until a key block has gone through, and pairs of blocks chained together. Every level is generated and checked to be solvable.
Rush opens at level ten — sixty seconds, two back for every block that leaves, a bonus for every three in a row and three lost for a wrong gate. The Workshop opens at level twenty and lets you build your own board. Hint, slow, bomb and undo are there when you are stuck. No account and no ads.
