Drop orbs into the well. Two of a kind fuse into the next one up. Build the orb shown at the top before the well fills, and the levels keep getting tighter.

Wellfall is a merge game with an objective drawn at the top of the screen. Orbs drop into a well, two of the same kind fuse into the next one up, and the level ends when you have built the orb it asked for — or when the well fills, whichever happens first.
That objective is what makes it a campaign rather than a sandbox. The genre it belongs to is usually an endless board with a score attached; here the levels are twenty to sixty seconds each, the stars are for doing it in few drops, and every level tightens exactly one thing. Later levels do not raise the target — raising a target only makes a level longer. They lower the line the well is allowed to reach, which makes it harder.
The physics do the rest. A fused orb grows into its new size over a fraction of a second rather than appearing at full size inside its neighbours, so a chain that collapses down the well reads as a chain rather than as a bug, and a badly placed orb keeps being a problem for the rest of the level.
The bomb falls into the well as a piece, not as a button. It takes one orb out and shoves everything around it, which means using it well is about where it lands rather than when you press it.
Wellfall is ours — code and art, with nothing borrowed and nothing to clear with anybody else. It can be licensed for your portal.
