Nubblo

Nubblo is a virtual pet that never dies. First you choose it: a winged puffball, a kitty, a little monster, an owlet or a chick, in one of seven colours. Then you tap the egg until it hatches, and from there it is yours to look after.

Tap it for a cuddle, rub it quickly to tickle it, drag food from the tray to its mouth, scrub it in the bath and put it to bed when it gets sleepy. Its four needs — hunger, hygiene, energy and fun — drop slowly while you are away, and it tells you what it wants in a speech bubble rather than a warning light.

It grows from baby to kid to teen to adult as it gains experience and days of care. Three minigames are open from the start — Endless Jump, Bubble Pop and Colour Snake — and they earn the coins that buy food, hats, glasses, scarves, capes and furniture. The furniture is not only decoration: the sofa helps energy come back, the plant slows boredom, the bookshelf makes minigames smarter. There are daily missions, a day streak with a gift on day seven, and a themed event each month.

And nothing bad can happen. If you forget about it for a week it will not be ill, dirty forever or gone; it will simply be waiting with a smile. It lives in your browser's storage. No account and no ads.
