Puzzle games

Three of ours are on this shelf and they solve three different problems. Boltnest is the tidy one: coloured nuts on bolts, three undos a level, and the pieces underneath face down so you are always working with incomplete information. Wellfall is the one that fills up while you think. ScaleSling is the one that breaks.

Alongside them is the part of the catalogue we deliberately went looking for: chess, sudoku, mahjong, dominoes, solitaire, minesweeper, nonograms. Games somebody already knows the rules of, which are the only ones on this site you can sit down with for an hour without learning anything first. Master Chess Multiplayer plays against a person, the machine, or a friend on the same phone.

What is not here is anything with a timer bullying you. If that is what you came for, Arcade is the next shelf along.
